Mom's Minute

I'm reading Kathy Peel's book, "Family Manager's Everyday Survival Guide." One of the recommendations is to have a family meeting about clutter and house cleaning. This has given me the idea of "Mom's Minute" (as part of our already existing Monday night Family Home Evening) where I can update the family about help I need in a fun way. This week I'm going to introduce the family to our garbage cans and have a lesson about the liners. (i.e. We want garbage inside the liner not on the edge of the liner and spilling back onto the floor or non-lined garbage can.) Then I think we might have a garbage bonanza and see how much garbage we can throw away in 5 minutes.
