Be Bwave!

The other day I had a doctor's appointment. It was just a short jaunt to the RN at my Rheumatologist's office, so the younger two kids, I brought along. After my brief appointment, I went for obligatory lab work. With 7-month-old Annika in one arm and the lab tech prepping the other, I was unable to help Nathan. He was standing at the lab doorway making a request and I encouraged him to go back into the conference room and color with the book and pencils I had brought for just this occasion.

As the lab tech began drawing my blood, I suddenly realized that Nathan was still at the door, holding onto the door frame and whispering, "Be bwave, Mama. Be vewy, vewy bwave."

thanks for visiting my blog - sorry you didn't like my post Male Vs. Female - Actually, my husband sent it to me - and for me it was good for a laugh - and not meant to be chauvanistic in any way. I, too, have both boys and girls and while there are definite differences in both (they are all grown) my post was just meant for humor. Sorry you didn't see it the same way I did. Good luck with the Weight Watchers! I'm on my 4th go-round with it, and for once am not doing it for a "special reason" ie. wedding, reunion, etc. Hopefully I will keep it off this time (it is taking longer, but maybe that means my body will get used to it this time and stay off!)
